The Literacy Council
of Grant County

The purpose of the Literacy Council is to train and inspire anyone 16 years of age and older who wants to learn to read or enhance their fundamental academic abilities. We provide free one-on-one tutoring in reading, math, and Pre-GED course material. In addition to the educational programs, we provide a free 8-week summer tutoring program for students in grades K–12 who have difficulty with math and reading. The council offers a wealth of tools to support our children and neighborhood in achieving their unique educational objectives.
